We had a conversation with 9 year old actress Kariana Karhu on The Chris & Sandy Show. Don’t let her age fool you, she’s very well grounded as you will see on the show. She’s definitely an entertainer! She will go far as an actress. We talked about many things from family, acting, sacrifices, she told some stories to a whole lot more!

Born in Texas just a few days after Christmas, nine-year-old Kariana Karhu has been a constant twirling light since. As a toddler, she booked her first print job as a model and added acting to her list of talents just a few years later at the age of six. Most recently Kariana can be seen starring in Amazon’s highly anticipated young adult thriller series, Panic, opposite Olivia Welch. Panic follows a group of teens who are dying to escape their small town of Carp, Texas. They embark in a dangerous competition game where the winner receives enough money to leave the town for good. Kariana plays ‘Lily,’ the younger sister of Olivia’s character, Heather Nill.

Always an entertainer at heart, Kariana loves to give herself homework and will go back to old scripts and self-tapes to work on making the scenes even better than before. She has also performed in her elementary school productions of Willy Wonka and Into the Woods. While she loves acting and performing, Kariana hopes to one day step behind the camera and add directing to her resume.

Kariana excels in school and art, and also plays the drums and piano. She recently took choreography classes for a project she worked on in which she tackled the lead role in a feature film. Kariana also enjoys dancing and gymnastics in her free time. She resides in Texas with her parents and has three brothers, one sister, a dog, Jazzy the Boxer, and a hamster named Luna.
