We had a great conversation with Weston Vernon on The Chris & Sandy Show. We talked about many things from faith, family, music, sacrifices and told several stories. Click the play button to listen to the podcast.
Weston started his country music journey as a teenager in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This was where he spent countless hours playing and singing country classics on a sound system in his parents’ garage. He made his live debut at Libby’s, a small steakhouse in Daysville, Kentucky that hosts live music and radio broadcasts for WBVR, The Beaver. For the last few years Weston has been writing in Nashville and in 2018 he began releasing music, with songs like “Honky Tonk World” garnering over 80,000 streams on Spotify. Weston says he hopes every song connects the listener to a place or a time in their life where they shared the same experience or emotion. In the words of the artist, “That’s what life is all about. Sharing our experiences with each other. Music reminds us that we all share the same feelings and emotions and that we really aren’t that different after all.”
Weston and his wife, Larie, have 3 kids (Tucker, Ansley, and Trapper) and live on a small farm in Plano, Kentucky where they grow Christmas trees and raise cattle and horses.
