We had a wonderful conversation with William Michael Morgan . We talked about so many things from God, family, his song I met a girl, sacrifices, he told some great stories especially one about George Strait plus a whole lot more!
William Michael Morgan is a Mississippi native with a love of country music that is deeper than The Big River itself and is the very definition of an old soul. His pristine Southern vocals, timeless sound and
honest lyrics represent a new generation of hit makers in Nashville; a modern day Alan Jackson, Randy Travis or George Strait.
After signing to a major record label at 19, William began hitting the top of radio charts with his Gold Certified song “I Met a Girl”. Following this, he released his debut album “Vinyl” which earned a spot on the Billboard Top 5 in 2016. He has performed over 50 times at the Grand Ole Opry stage and was featured by the Country Music Hall of Fame as a highlighted artist in their 2017 American Currents exhibit. This is in addition to the thousands of live shows that he’s performed all over the world.
While William has grown as an artist since he first came onto the Nashville scene, some things will never change- mainly his passion for sharing country lyrics with fans that are full of pure, raw emotion.
