We had a great conversation with author & wellness expert Julia Loggins (ex wife to Musician Kenny Loggins) on The Chris & Sandy Show. We talked about so many things from God, purpose, passion, wellness, writing, she told some great stories to a whole lot more. Julia even gave me (Chris) the title to a book she felt I should write! This episode was God-Inspired!
Born in Los Angeles in 1955, Wellness guru Julia Loggins is a true survivor, overcoming debilitating illness throughout her childhood and teens, hospitalized frequently for life-threatening asthma, she also endured crippling arthritis, migraines, bleeding ulcers, colitis and diverticulitis. Thanks to the principals of the Bragg Healthy Lifestyle and radical detoxification, Julia completely healed her mind and body. With the determination to help herself and others, Julia began to study holistic medicine. She learned all she could about regenerative medicine, and set out to inspire people on how to live their best, healthy, and most authentic lifestyles. Julia completed her Health Educators Course at the Hippocrates Health Institute in 1982 and studied with psychiatrist Dr. Ernest Pecci, whose work is now being carried on at the Hoffman Institute in Northern California, exploring the mind-body connection and the understanding of how family patterns affect health and well-being.
With over 35 years’ experience in the health and wellness field, Julia began her private practice in Santa Barbara, California in 1983 specializing in digestive health. She is an internationally certified colon hydro-therapist with a specialty in regenerative nutrition, and fertility health. She wrote her first book, “The Unimaginable Life” with former husband Kenny Loggins. As her practice grew, she wrote and published her second and third books, “Dare to Detoxify!” and “It Takes Guts To Be Happy, A 21 Day Plan to Heal Your Belly & Recharge Your Life.” Now, she is gearing up to release her latest book with Patricia Bragg, Revolutionary Beauty on February 1st. Along with her empowering self-help health books, Julia has designed her own signature line of digestive health supplements and on-line courses. She is a mother of two grown children and currently resides in Santa Barbara, CA, with her now husband Paul Turner.
Julia and Patricia created Revolutionary Beauty to re-define the culture of beauty by giving women the tools to turn the clock back 20 years! Patricia’s motto is “Age is a number and mine is unlisted.” Julia writes, “Our intention is to give women a simple, proven plan to heal their bodies, release toxicity and stress, reclaim joy and prioritize their health and happiness! When we light up with energy and focus on our passions, we not only look and feel beautiful, we are radiant! Beauty is NOT in the eye of the beholder. It is inside us; and when we change the way we feel about ourselves, we literally change the way the world sees us.”
