2025 The Chris & Sandy Show gets rebooted! I have updated some of the about pages for the show. I may update the logo too soon.
Honestly, I’m feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. I’m not sure if I’ll be as comfortable on live shows as I was before, but I’m hopeful I haven’t lost my touch—because we’re jumping right back in.
Just to be clear, we’re NOT stepping away from The Customized Ride. It’s still growing, and we’re fully committed to building that brand. We’re simply expanding what we do, because The Chris & Sandy Show has always been a true passion of ours. The conversations we had with guests were incredible, and often their stories left me in awe.
Right now, I’m filled with gratitude. I’ve missed our show
I still have that big talk show dream for Sandy and me. This journey isn’t easy, but based on what I’ve learned about social media from The Customized Ride, I feel more prepared for success this time around—at least, that’s my hope.
I’ve been dreaming of this moment for at least six months because I always felt at home on our show. But now, I’m ready for this reboot.
We’ll also be collecting horror stories from the entertainment industry—real-life accounts of difficult or shocking experiences people have faced in their careers. We invite people in the industry to send us their stories, and we’ll read them on air and react. I’m not sure how this will unfold, but I think it could be fascinating. We’ll ask that any names or company specifics be left out, focusing just on the experience itself.
We’ve got more video ideas in the works too, so stay tuned!
Let’s see how far we can take this. Let’s finish what Sandy and I started with The Chris & Sandy Show.
Why We Put The Chris & Sandy Show on Hiatus—and Why Now Matters for Its Return
When we decided to pause The Chris & Sandy Show, burnout was the biggest factor. In just three years, we completed 600 interviews—an exhausting pace that took its toll. Add to that the immense grief we experienced with the loss of my dad and Sandy’s mom, who passed away less than three months apart in 2022. The weight of that grief made everything feel overwhelming, and even though we pushed through a few more interviews that year, we were still processing so much.
During that time, we needed space to grieve and heal, and after taking two years off, I’m feeling a renewed sense of energy and focus. This break was necessary to regain balance and perspective, and I now feel ready to dive back in.
Another reason we hit pause was Katelynn outgrowing her naps. In the early days of the show, we could film while she napped and Lil Chris watched her. But as she stopped napping, filming became more challenging. Now that she’s older, Lil Chris can keep an eye on her in another room, making it easier to get back into the swing of things.
The rapid growth of The Customized Ride also played a role in the hiatus. We had to pour all our efforts into that brand, and it’s now on solid ground. That gives us the freedom to relaunch The Chris & Sandy Show, knowing we can give it the attention it deserves.
I’ve missed the conversations we had on the show—so many of them were truly incredible. While we might not jump back into as many interviews right away, we’re excited to reconnect with our audience and continue the journey we started.
There’s a mix of excitement and nerves, too. Though I’ve stayed active with a few interviews for The Customized Ride, returning to The Chris & Sandy Show still feels like stepping into something fresh. But that’s part of the growth process, and I’m ready to embrace it.
So, here’s to the next chapter. Taking the break when we did and returning now has given us the clarity and energy to give both brands the attention they deserve. Let’s see how far we can take this together!
